Spread the love

“There is more in us than we know if we could be made to see it; perhaps, for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for less.” – Kurt Hahn

We’re often told that we should be willing to settle for less at the holidays: less business, less consumerism, less money spent, less chaos.

But what would happen if we switched that mindset? What if we insisted on settling for more?

Instead of looking for less work, we look for more time with our loved ones.

Instead of less consumerism, we look for more generosity.

Instead of less chaos, we look for more peace, space for reflection, and time for our heart to grow.

We can enter into this holiday season without worrying about cutting down on frenzy. Instead, let’s focus on finding more of what this holiday is all about: peace, love, and connectedness.

What are you doing to expand your desire for more of the good things? It’s a perspective shift that might make this season that much more joyful.
