Post ASL Going Deeper Class – OCT

Starting October 14th, 2024: Online Only
Cost: $400 per couple for 8 week course 

Week 1- introduction to the course, refresher from the Sound Relationship House as well as introduction to the Core Values Index (CVI)
Week 2- Deep dive into the CVI
Week 3- Love Languages
Week 4- Building a vision for your relationship
Week 5– Basic Skills of Conflict Management – Softened Start-UP / Repair Checklist
Week 6- More Skills of Conflict Management – Accepting Influence – Dreams within Conflict
Week 7- More Skills of Conflict Management – Combining CVI with Gottman Rapaport
Week 8- More Skills of Conflict Management – Aftermath of a Fight or Regrettable Event

Mondays, October 14th - December 2nd, 2024: 7-8:30pm

What will be covered in this class?
During the first 2 weeks, we are going to work on Building love maps (Getting to know each other deeper). We are going to use the Core Values Index to understand how you and your partner are wired and how that affects your relationship. In the following weeks, we will work on Love Languages and Conflict Management Skills.

Who is this class for? Couples who have attended an Art and Science of Love (ASL) that was presented by Sabrina Walters. Couples that want to go deeper and practice the skills.

Why take this class? Many participants say what they learned was great, content wise and the break out sessions helped, but they needed more time and coaching to support progress. It can also be hard to make time to work on these techniques to build your relationship. This will be a time set aside to revisit the skills and practice them as well as learn new techniques and information that enhances your learning at the Art and Science of Love.

Who is teaching this class?
Eric Walters (married to Sabrina) has been a Life Coach since 2015 and has been a teacher since 1983. Retired from teaching, he is now a coach full time and works as the CFO/COO of Core Values Counseling with his wife of over 40 years, Sabrina Walters. He is passionate about helping couples have the best possible relationship. He will be sharing from his own experience and expertise as a relationship coach how to make the changes last, that were explored in the ASL. He will also give you an opportunity to work on your skills just like you did in the ASL workshop as a couple. He will also introduce you to the Core Values Index which will help you understand yourself and your partner’s deeply held values that drive your every decision and the way you show up in relationships (as well as every area of your life).

We want to help couples understand more deeply the skills they need to hone in order to really make a lasting impact on their relationships. We can learn something at a retreat or conference, practice it while there, but then go home and forget all about it. Our hope is that through this small group experience, you’ll have more opportunities to make lasting changes in your relationships.
