Spread the love
When I have to make a decision, whether it’s a big life choice or even just picking a meal off of a menu, often I’m struck with a surprise attack:an attack on my ability to be a strong and confident person. I don’t think I’m alone in this feeling, either!
When we feel insecure about a decision we have to make, especially when it has to do with our relationships and friendships, it’s usually because we have ignored our inner wisdom — that little voice inside our head. When we trust ourselves and that still small voice, we can rest. We can relax. We’re more assured that it will all be okay. In the CVI, Builders are great at this! Does it come easily to you, or do you find yourself struggling like I do?When was that last time you were trying to make a major decision about something? Did you poll all your friends? Research on the web for hours? Seek professional advice? Or did you listen to your inner voice? I personally have a habit of listening to those around me most of all. The good news, however, is that this is not an either/or situation–it’s both/and!When you are confused about which way to go, let your wisdom, compassion and love guide you. Listen to others. Do your research. Ask an expert. But, at the end of the day, the decision is yours. That’s why it’s so important to trust your inner wisdom — your gut! We’ve all got it, some of us just have to build our trust in it a little more.  When we’re able to do this, we can let go of our fear of failure and grasp onto a hope of what might be. That hope, in fact, is what often makes all the difference.
